You can say you knew me when...

My Wallpaper Strips quilt was accepted for the Kaffe Fassett Invitational Quilt Show!!!  I know that there were 60 entries but not how many were accepted.  They showed 40 quilts in 2005 if that's anything to go by.  I know it's not very good technically - the binding is wonky and the quilting could be neater - but I'm so excited that Kaffe will actually SEE one of my quilts.  Even if he just said 'hmmmm, interesting' I would be happy.  Who am I kidding?  I'm ecstatic that it was even accepted!  The exhibition will be on display on October 4th and 5th at the Connie Bean Center in Portsmouth, NH.  Should be great to see all those Kaffe patterns and prints in one place!
